We are delighted to announce we’ll be hosting another sports event for LGBTQ+ women and non binary folk in February 2026! People of all ability levels, from beginner to seasoned athlete, are invited to join us for what promises to be a day of fun and socialising with your peers in the LGBTQ+ community.

When: 07th February 2026 (Sat)
Time: 12pm - 3pm
Where: Trinity College Sports Centre, 43 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, D02 W085
Cost: €10 + the registration fee
Volunteers will be present on the day to support and guide you as needed so please don’t hesitate to reach out to someone.

Overview of The Day’s Structure
All of the sports below are taster sessions - you do not need any previous experience in the sports to take part.
11.30am -11.50am : Registration
12.00pm - 3.00pm : A quick ice breaker followed by a mix of badminton with the Flaming Feathers LGBTQ+ club, wall climbing and team bonding games.
Coaches, kindly provided by the Dublin City Sports & Wellbeing Partnership and Trinity College, will lead participants through all of the activities. Participants will be divided into 3 groups on the day and will rotate between the 3 activities before everyone regroups for the cool down. We ask that everyone who registers participate in all 3 sports.
Gentle Reminders
Please bring your own reusable water bottle which can be refilled onsite on the day.
Showers are available afterwards for anyone who wishes to use them.
Everyone is welcome to join the organisers in Street 66 afterwards for some free pizza and socialising!
Registration Costs
The cost to register is €10 + the Eventbrite registration fee.
This includes participation in all sports, snacks during activities (granola bars, bananas), and pizza at Street 66 afterwards.
If you are not in a position to pay the fee please contact Sporting Pride (info@sportingpride.ie) and we can register you free of charge.
Additional Event Information
Photographer On Site - Debbie from Studio Ten photography will be on site throughout the day. If you do not want to be included in photographs please approach the photographer to make your wishes known beforehand.
