The LGV 2026 Campaign

Join us the for 5th instalment of Sporting Pride’s and Sport Ireland’s #Lets Get Visible. An online social media campaign that focuses on sport within the LGBTQ+ Community for Pride in Ireland 🌈 Sport is an important outlet for a lot people, clubs provide a space for safety, a sense of belonging, and helps combat the anxiety in world that constantly feels like its on fire. A cornerstone for that safety is visibility, a sense of ‘being seen’ and accepted; something that every person needs, gay or straight.

One of goals for Let’s Get Visible is to pedestal LGBTQ+ athletes, their sporting achievements, the clubs and communities they play in, and their voice as ambassadors for sport. The other one is to spotlight LGBTQ+ allies work within and for the community to make the world a little bit safer 💕

So to quote ourselves from last year:

Now more than ever, it’s important that we come together in support of inclusion, respect, and dignity for all. This is a call for allies of our community to stand with us—by listening, learning, and promoting accurate, respectful information. Together, we can help ensure that sport remains a safe, welcoming space…
