LGBTI+ Running Programme - Limerick

GOSHH & Sporting Pride are delighted to launch an 8 week running programme for all members of the LGBTI+ community in the Midwest

About this event

LGBTI+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex) community members from across Clare, Limerick & North Tipperary are invited to join us for this 8 week running programme. Runners of all levels are welcome - from couch to 5k runners to marathon level athletes.

Group sessions will take place on the track at the University of Limerick three evenings and on the grass pitches near the track on five evenings.

Participants will be encouraged to meet and train themselves another evening each week and to join a local Park Run at the weekend to keep the enthusiasm going.

Coaching the group will be former Olympian and Limerick legend Rosemary Ryan. Rosemary represented Ireland at the 2000 summer Olympics in Sydney and currently coaches runners at Dooneen Athletics Club.
