This collaboration between Belfast Azlans RFC and Sporting Pride aims to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all individuals, irrespective of their background or identity.

The rugby match will serve as a powerful symbol of unity and equality, emphasizing the importance of embracing diversity in the sporting world. As players come together on the field, they will demonstrate the values of respect, teamwork, and inclusion that lie at the heart of both rugby and the LGBTQ+ community.

Following the rugby match, Omagh Pride will set the streets alight with its vibrant and exuberant parade, scheduled to start at 1:00 PM. The parade will kick off from the Main Street Car Park on Kelvin Road and wind its way through the heart of Omagh, spreading joy and promoting acceptance along its route. LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, organizations, and community groups will march together, showcasing their unwavering support for LGBTQ+ rights and equality.

Throughout the day, attendees will be treated to a myriad of exciting activities and entertainment. The parade will feature colourful floats, captivating street performers, and engaging speeches from prominent LGBTQ+ advocates. At 12:30 PM, inspiring speakers, will take the stage to address the crowd, highlighting the significance of Pride Month and the ongoing fight for equality.

After the parade, the festivities continue with an array of thrilling performances and a lively after party at the Aviary Bar. At 2:00 PM, be sure to catch electrifying acts such as CHERYM, Essentially Cher-Live in Concert, Kandy Carousel, Dylan McKee DJ, and local drag queens, all hosted by the fabulous Cat Brogan and Shane Pritchard.

Omagh Pride extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the organizations participating in the parade, including QUEERSPACE, Cara-Friend, Shopmobility Omagh Cookstown Samba band, Northern Ireland Public Service Alliance (NIPSA), Hospital Road Youth Club, Tune Up, Equity, Cookstown Samba, and many others. Their presence and support contribute immensely to the success and impact of Omagh Pride Celebrations.

The Omagh Pride Celebrations would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, including the National Lottery Community Fund, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, and other dedicated contributors. Their commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space for all is truly commendable.

Join us on Saturday, June 17th, as we come together to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and pride. Together, let's champion equality and build a society where everyone can live authentically and without fear of discrimination.
